My heart is so saddened over the loss of lives in California. There are many questions floating around about why did this happen, why didn't God answer, more gun control is needed, and we're not at war why is this happening. I have reached a point where I really believe we have lost our focus in America. We must speak out! First of all, God has removed some of the hedge of protection that has been around America - plain and simple. When you turn your back on Jesus, cut Him out of every part of your life and culture, He will pull back from you. When He pulls back, you will suffer - innocent and evil. Evil doesn't care if it dies and is emboldened when it takes innocent lives with it. Why didn't God answer? I believe He did. WE left Him and He pulled back. Gun control has to be the biggest joke of all time! The only purpose of de-arming your people is to create control over them. If you're afraid of the people your leading owning fire arms and protecting themselves and their country, you're in the wrong business- leadership, belief of freedom, country. If I'm leading, I want every person I'm leading to be armed, educated, and free to make decisions. That is a big part of America's greatness and freedom! We are not at war???? Really! You don't have to declare war to be at war! War has been waged against us! We! Americans! A religion, Islamic- radicalism, has attacked us and will not stop until we are simulated or dead. When we are allowed to let truth triumph and bring to light good instead of evil, we will again restore some of our greatness, security, and freedoms. Truth is the only way to survival. Wiggy

Two years ago today I lost my mom to Glio-Sarcoma. Time heals some wounds and the moments you think, "oh, I need to tell mom that", are less painful but just remember Today Matters in your life and those you influence.

I have a river of thoughts this morning. I'm thinking about all the young women in the world today. Maybe it's because my own daughters are 23, 22, & 22... Maybe because I remember the decisions I was making at that time- who knows but my passion and desire resonants this.... There are many forces in this world that will pull you in one direction or another. Whether you choose a career, to be a mom, or both, NEVER forget that it is wonderful to be a GOD created woman and you have the ability to influence many people and circumstances just by being the woman God created you to be. You are a blessed joy and take comfort and security in knowing who's you are and the spirit that dwells in you. Today: Be You!

What God showed me today: while I was having a conversation with my husband, over whether the peeler or a knife was best to peel the sweet potatoes, (you see I'm a recovering perfectionist 😛), I told my husband that the peeler was less efficient because the peels kept getting caught and I'd have to take time to rinse it out and make way too many strokes over the same area because the peeler didn't get it all. The convo continues and then it hit me.... I wonder how many times God has had to go over me peeling away my sins, hang ups, false beliefs, stinking thinking, to get to the part of me that could make those changes. The almighty cook is getting this sweet potato ready to bake. Thank you God for your never ending love of me!

Enjoying Summer Break!!!!! If you are able to take vacations I highly recommend going to the USS Alabama in Mobile, AL. Great history!!! Not to mention Fort Gaines and other Forts there as well. Wiggy
